STN operates and leases bandwidth capacity on its 600+ mile regional network spanning eight Counties in New York’s Southern Tier and Finger Lakes Regions.
STN’s network infrastructure fosters inter-governmental connectivity by linking County, City, Town, and Village offices via a high speed, optical fiber based infrastructure enabling greater use of shared services. We have connected over 55 municipal buildings in six counties, enabled next generation 911 services, connected 5 PSAPs and over 15 public safety towers. There are no other dark fiber providers in the region that can match our reach or low cost.
